The film "Around the world in 80 days" is based on a Jules Verne's novel that was written in 1873. But it isn't a traditional journey. It is something more!
The film was directed by Frank Caroci and it is an adventure funny film. It was released in cinemas in 2004.
The main characters are Passepartout (Jackie Chan), Phileas Fogg (Steve Coogan) and Madame la Roque (Cecile De France).
The film takes place in the 19th century and is set around the world. Phileas Fogg is a brilliant scientist, but not very popular. So he decides to challenge the London Academy members that he can complete a journey around the world in 80 days. So he with his friend Passepartout and the French artist Madame la Roque, start this fantastic and nice adventure around the world.
The acting is great and the plot is exciting.
Every actor plays his role very well. The soundtrack was written by Trevor James David A. Stewart.
Over all "Around the world in 80 days " is the perfect film for children and adults. It is a fantastic adventure story.
